Your Area of Responsibility:
Within the Cyber Protection - Detect & Prevent team, you'll be entrusted with delivering exceptional services in the areas of Host/Network Intrusion (IDS/IPS), Web Application Firewall (WAF), Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), and Security Information Event Management (SIEM).
Your Key Tasks:
- Ensure a methodical, timely, and continuous approach to identifying, prioritizing, reporting, and managing tasks associated with the team's operations.
- Cultivate strong client relationships and consistently devise and implement enhancement strategies to maintain client satisfaction.
- Place a strong emphasis on client contentment as a central aspect of our daily service delivery.
- Centralize the documentation, tracking, monitoring, reporting, and communication with stakeholders, including a structured escalation process.
- Strategically plan, oversee, and drive the incorporation of assets and applications as needed to ensure comprehensive coverage and compliance.
- Manage the demand tracker and work portfolio for the current and upcoming year, developing a roadmap that aligns with relevant environments, tailors service capabilities to organizational needs, and reviews implemented use cases.
- Consider and adhere to regulatory and audit requirements while ensuring the appropriate level of compliance for the service.
Your Qualifications:
- Possess a university degree in IT, business informatics, or a related field.
- Bring experience in information security management, ideally in a regulated industry like finance.
- Possess knowledge and experience in project management, with the flexibility to apply various approaches, including agile methods, according to specific requirements.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to methodically address complex issues and drive them toward resolution.
- Showcase leadership skills that foster collaboration across departments and motivate teams to embrace new ideas and directives.
- Have the ability to organize and structure your own work as well as that of others.
- Be adept at making decisions in dynamic situations.
- Display the skill to structure options and present proposals for next steps to senior management.
- Hold relevant certifications in security management and project management, such as ITIL, PMP, etc.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with professionals at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, reliability, and a strong sense of personal responsibility.
- Be able to articulate complex topics in an easily understandable manner.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required, with knowledge of German being a potential advantage.
