As an Infrastructure Engineer you will work closely with the front-office trading, the engine room of this market leading institution. This prominent trading firm deploys capital across major asset classes, in all major financial markets.
Key responsibilities for Senior Infrastructure Engineer:
- Assist trading systems and other support teams where necessary
- Establish and supervise network and storage infrastructure
- Construct and implement automation to control infrastructure services and applications
- Improve the reliability and operation of infrastructure related applications
Key qualifications for Senior Infrastructure Engineer:
- 7+ years' experience in Network, Storage and Compute systems / components
- Proficient in Python language
- Experience using Linux
- Integral technological knowledge of storage concepts (e.g., NFS, block/file storage), compute concepts (e.g., different OS systems) and networking concepts (DNS, HTTP, TCP)
- Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Configuration management and infrastructure provisioning experience is required
- Experience in automating routine tasks
