Role Responsibilities for Senior Distillates Trader
- Trading of physical distillates and the associated derivatives.
- Managing risk exposure on the trading book.
- Negotiating term and spot contracts with counterparties.
- Developing proprietary trading strategies, both on physical and paper.
- Liaise internally for shipping, on spot or term basis.
- Provide analytical assessments to support trading decisions.
Individual Attributes for Senior Distillates Trader
- Profitable track record trading physical distillates.
- Regions of interest would be NWE, UK, Med and/or Africa.
- Prior experience within a trading house is preferred.
- Contacts within aviation industry would be advantageous.
- Sound understanding of the global flows.
- Ability to develop new business via established network.
- Eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
