A leading fintech company specialising in structured investment products are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on both Anti Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance, ensuring our operations align with German regulations and industry best practices.
As a Senior Compliance Officer you will:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance program tailored to the specific needs of the company and its structured investment products, ensuring compliance with German regulations.
- Monitor changes in German Financial Crime and regulatory requirements, assess their impact on the company, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement effective controls to mitigate compliance risks associated with AML and regulatory obligations in Germany.
- Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance policies, procedures, and best practices in Germany.
- Collaborate with Legal and Risk Management teams to review, update, and enhance internal policies, procedures, and documentation to align with changing German regulations.
- Perform regular internal compliance audits and investigations to ensure adherence to AML and regulatory requirements in Germany, identifying areas of non-compliance and recommending corrective actions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Business, Law, or Compliance) or equivilant experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in AML and regulatory compliance within the German fintech or structured investment products sector.
- Strong knowledge of German AML regulations (e.g., Geldwรคschegesetz) and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., BaFin, Deutsche Bundesbank).
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing AML and regulatory compliance programs in accordance with German regulations.
