As a Sales Head, this candidate would be responsible for building rice sales business & ensuring sustainable business performance in China for a leading agricultural trading firm.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales
- Build Rice business in China and ensure sustainable growth
- Accountable for sales performance strategies and tactics through regular interaction in market
- Develop key insights into the market and provide market views and reports on a regular basis
- Collect products information from competitors, timely feedback on market dynamics and propose to the company according to market dynamics
- Increase customer base by developing new customers across China
- Develop Rice trading ability to increase sales volumes into China
Strategic business development
- Planning annual objectives along with product team (including medium term objectives)
- Identifying business opportunities / new customer base
Process & system orientation
- Adherence to systems for operational reliability
- Regular review & reporting (within China & overseas)
Industry connection
- Maintain good rapport with key industry stakeholders
- Build customer stickiness & key client service
Job Requirements:
- 5-10 years rice trading experience in rice market with strong industry experiment and trading policy understanding
- Good connection with China market and local merchants in top agriculture trading house in China
- Familiar with import process and documentation and have capability to set up rice business in China
- Good team player and good command of English speaking/writing
