Responsibilities:
- Implement asset management strategies such as leasing, financing, capital improvement and disposition (where applicable) with a view of maximising profit and returns
- Extract and review asset performance data, analyse and draw conclusions, and manage the implications as appropriate
- Update business plans on a regular basis
- Undertake portfolio analyses and asset reviews and prepare performance reports and quarterly valuations
- Assist with managing the debt financing on assigned investments and procure debt extensions, re-negotiations, recapitalisation, etc. as necessary
- Assist with preparing fund reports
- Oversee operating partners and property managers in their day-to-day management of the assets, and become involved in key decisions
- Manage external service providers, including accountants and lawyers, as appropriate
- Negotiate, where required, with borrowers, guarantors, asset managers and property managers
- Assist the development and implementation of effective and consistent asset management systems
- Work pro-actively with the acquisition team on the closing and due diligence process (when requested) to facilitate a seamless hand-over to asset management upon closing
- Share information, skills and knowledge amongst the team, and assist in training and mentoring others
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years' demonstrable relevant experience in a similar role within similar organisation
- Successfully completed a relevant academic degree such as business, mathematics, economics, finance etc.
- MBA or other Finance based master's degree is useful but not essential
- CFA or other relevant professional qualification desirable
- Fluent in spoken and written English language
- Another European language is an advantage
