Title: Quantitative Researcher
Salary: $200K
Company Summary: My client is a top 10 asset management company in the U.S. that is currently looking to build out its premier quantitative research team. This group sits on an active trading floor and provides quantitative strategy support to PMs in both equity and fixed income
The Quant Researcher will be responsible for:
- Researches and develops quantitative models of expected return / risk for various assets.
- Performs quantitative analysis and offers opinions and recommendations.
- Prepares written and statistical analyses for clients, prospects, senior management and the media. Contributes written material for internal and external publications.
- Analyzes complex investment research issues, focusing on financial markets and their implications for portfolio construction, asset allocation strategies, and investment advice.
The Quant Researcher should have the following qualifications:
- PhD or Master's degree in a financial or Quantitative field.
- Proficient in Matlab or Python. (Matlab preferred)
- Background related to economics is a plus.
- Must be familiar with optimization techniques including but not limited to stochastic dynamic programming.
