Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Sourcing: Identify, research, and evaluate potential investment opportunities in the middle-market sector.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on prospective borrowers, including financial statements, market research, and industry analysis.
- Underwriting: Assist in structuring and underwriting loan transactions, including the development of credit memos and investment presentations.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage existing investments, including ongoing financial analysis, covenant compliance, and communication with portfolio companies.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with borrowers, financial sponsors, and other stakeholders in the industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (MBA or CFA a plus).
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in direct lending, credit analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a keen interest in finance and investment.
