Our client, one of the world's largest international banking groups, is looking to hire an experienced Technology Risk professional at Managing Director level to provide industry and subject matter expertise across the full Technology Risk function of the firm's global Commercial and Investment Banking businesses. The firm are one of the largest US Commercial financial services firms with a global presence that continues to go from strength to strength. As Head of Enterprise Technology Risk, you will have had very technical experience in sophisticated Technology teams in highly regulated industries and you will be expected to leadership and direction to a specialist 2LOD who are responsible for proactively providing advice and challenge to key stakeholders in the first line as well as senior Technology, Cyber, Infrastructure and Operations leaders across North America, EMEA and APAC regions. You will report directly into the Chief Operational Risk Officer where you will be driving a strong risk management culture through expert advice to senior leaders.
The MD, Head of Enterprise Technology Risk will be responsible forโฆ
- Full oversight of Technology and Cyber Risk programs including oversight of SOC and CSFC and Penetration Testing
- Setting the Policies & Standards for the Chief Information Security Office and providing independent oversight
- Assist in the implementation of Operational Risk frameworks and driving a strong risk management culture providing expert Operational Risk advice as it pertains to emerging Technologies and associated Risks
- Representing Enterprise Technology to the board, Executive Committee and senior regulators
The MD, Head of Enterprise Technology Risk should have the following qualificationsโฆ
- Minimum of 15+ years of relevant, hands on, technical experience in a global, matrixed, and highly regulated organization and ideally in an MD seat
- Detailed knowledge of banking Technology Infrastructure and emerging technologies as they pertain to large, complex organizations
- Knowledge of security programs for IAM and Application Security
- Deep technical knowledge of Incident Management programs and in particular Security Incident management
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication skills and stakeholder management and people management skills
