Our client is interested in onboarding a credit analyst to help support their client asset management functions. This individual will be overseeing and managing the day-to-day responsibilities of their client's loan portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
* Review and interpret credit documents
* Build, modify and run borrowing base models
* Analyze collateral data / work with large data sets
* Calculate financial ratios and other covenant requirements
* Perform portfolio monitoring / reporting
* Work closely with Client Asset Management Team and Investment Team
* Liaise with the Client borrowers
* Assist with the team's strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in finance or relevant business field
* 2-5 years relevant experience in commercial banking or financial services with a focus on lending
* Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
* Proficient Word, and PowerPoint skills
* Self-starter who demonstrates ownership and drive with a commitment to deadlines
* Collegial and transparent with a high level of integrity
* Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
* Detail oriented to assure accuracy in every transaction performed
* Excellent reading comprehension, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
