An exceptionally-performing hedge fund is looking to bring on an experienced team member to serve as Head of Quant Trading for the firm's new crypto business. The firm is prepared to provide industry-leading first year guarantee compensation packages, as well as various upside incentives for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the firm's systematic crypto trading efforts
- Assist with idea generation and strategy development across high frequency trading (HFT), mid frequency stat arb, L/S, and additional automated trading strategies
- Lead the growth of the quant team
- Expand into various verticals across crypto derivatives, DeFi, and more
Requirements:
- 5+ years in a quant research & trading capacity
- Exceptional programming skills (Python, C++)
- Crypto experience preferred (not required)
- Top Quant Shop/HFT shop experience preferred
