Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of ICT, data, and information security risk professionals;
- Oversee and challenge the effectiveness of the first line's technology risk management controls and identify any areas of improvement, perform routine monitoring of ICT, data, and information security risks;
- Identify, monitor, analyse, measure, manage, and report on ICT, data, and information security risks;
- Support the development and implementation of technology risk management policies and procedures, ensuring that they align with the institution's overall risk management strategy and that they are appropriate for the institution's risk profile;
- Stay informed about industry developments and best practices in technology risk management and provide guidance to the institution on how to address these emerging risks;
- Contribute to independent risk reporting to the group's management and regulatory authorities;
- Oversee incident and change management processes;
- Contribute to other relevant elements of the group's operational risk management framework;
- Contribute to team and company performance through effective collaboration and acting with energy, enthusiasm and commitment;
- Substitute your team members;
Ideal Competencies
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in ICT, data, and/or information security risk management, preferably in a banking or financial services environment;
- Experience in identifying and assessing technology-related risks, developing and implementing policies and procedures to manage technology risks, and managing the security of IT systems and data;
- Experience in working with the specific regulations and industry standards that apply to the financial sector;
- Strong knowledge of ICT and information security risk management frameworks, principles, and best practices;
- Experience working with senior management;
- Experience with risk management software and tools, such as risk assessment and management platforms, threat intelligence platforms, and incident management tools;
- Experience in project management, with the ability to plan, organize, and oversee multiple projects at once;
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing team members, providing guidance and mentorship, and handling performance evaluations.
