Selby Jennings is currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Head of Finance for our esteemed client based in Zurich. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities that include accounting, tax management & planning as well as budgeting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification (preferably Master's) in finance or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working at senior managerial level within a corporate environment
- Professional certification such as ACCA/CIMA/CPA
Skills:
Financial Controlling: As head of finance it will your responsibility to ensure proper documentation and recording with regards transactions across various departments while adhering strictly regulatory requirements.
Tax Management: You should have extensive knowledge on local tax laws guiding operations especially relating to international trade agreements affecting companies operating from Switzerland.
Consultancy / Advisory Services: Apart from managing day-to-day finances responsibilities this role requires someone who can provide sound strategic advice when needed by other members within top-level management team.
Controlling/Budgeting: In addition to analyzing overall company performance metrics, you are expected take lead roles setting realistic targets and budgets whilst implementing measures ensuring adherence throughout organization.
Cash Flow Management: This involves forecasting cash flow needs so adequate provisions made available at optimal times. It also includes monitoring expenditures against allocated budgets.
