Your role
- Support and contribute to an effective implementation Enterprise Risk Management Framework for the Group and its subsidiaries
- Provide advisory support to Business/Functional Units to enable their business operations are in strict compliance with external regulatory requirements and internal policies standards
- Drive individual Business/Functional Unit to conduct and complete necessary risk assessments for their routine operations and any new initiatives
- Lead periodic review of risk-related policies and procedures, risk control/mitigations effectiveness of Business/Functional Units, and identify any improvement/enhancement opportunities with practical guidelines
- Conduct quality assurance programme for Business/Functional Units to confirm their respective risk assessments are in accordance with the applicable requirements and standards
- Promote risk-based culture/awareness for all relevant stakeholders of the Group and its subsidiaries, design relevant training materials and arrange regular training sessions
- Coordinate with various parties on the Group and/or Business/Functional Units level incident management process, monitor and track all outstanding action(s) until complete resolution
- Assist individual Business/Functional Units to adopt/comply with new regulatory standards, latest corporate governance standards and risk management best practices for their daily operations
- Prepare periodic Enterprise Risk Management reports for Board of Directors Committee/Sub-committee, and provide necessary support to the preparation of required listed company reporting for the Group and its subsidiaries
- Liaise with vendor on the enhancement/routine maintenance of Enterprise Risk Management system for the Group and its subsidiaries
- Support any ad-hoc tasks as required
To succeed in this role
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Corporate Governance, Economics, Finance or Risk Management or relevant disciplines
- At least 5 years or more related work experience in domestic listed company
- Solid understanding of HKEx requirements, for example, listing rules, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters and etc.
- Strong knowledge of risk management lifecycle and deliverables
- Strong problem-solving ability with analytical and critical thinking
- Professional qualification in Accounting, Corporate Governance, Economics, Finance or Risk Management would be a definite advantage
- Excellent presentation and report-writing skills with a good command of verbal and written English and Chinese
- Candidate with less experience might be considered for the post of Assistant Manager
