What You'll Do:
- First line of contact for all local office technology issues; Prioritize numerous issues of varying severity and effectively manage the resolution of all issues; Ensure that enterprise computing resources are always available to the end users; Coordinate other IT resources to assist in problem resolution as needed
- Participation in the companies ticketing system including logging, assigning, troubleshooting, escalating tickets for hardware, software, and application issues
- Assist in the maintenance and management of server, network, and application environments if required
- Provide resolutions in a timely manner via ticketing system, telephone, face to face meetings, or email
- Root cause analysis and recommended remediation for systemic issues
- Build, deploy and manage all aspects of End-user Devices, including imaging, antivirus systems, system rollouts, end-user application maintenance, patching, licenses, and systems orientation for new hires
- Document procedures, standards, best practices, configurations, settings, installation sequences, and back-out instructions; ensure documents are kept up to date
- Coordinate other IT resources to assist in problem resolution as needed
- Core technologies include Windows 10, Apple iOS, Active Directory and AD/AzureAD/Exchange/Intune account management, MS Office 365, Atlassian/JIRA Cloud, Okta, Azure AD, Crestron/Extron, Teams & Zoom Rooms, and common end-user software suites, end-user hardware, printers, laptops, mobile device management, and desktop imaging system.
End User Support Technical Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- 3-5 years End-user / Infrastructure support experience in a professional services environment, financial services is a plus
- Strong technical background with the ability to spot problematic areas, analyze solutions, propose resolutions, and direct their implementation
- Scripting (PS) / Coding / DevOps experience / knowledge will be advantageous
- Experience with Databases; Microsoft SQL Server or Cloud databases a plus
- Expertise with the following: Active Directory, Windows, Unix environments, Desktop and Server Hardware
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms like O365, AWS and Azure, certifications will be a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills; Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and manage his/her time both independently as well as within a team environment
