A top American Investment Bank is currently looking to hire a Vice President of Electronic Trading and Digital Services. This person will be a part of a growing team, responsible for managing the organization's operational, regulatory, and reputational risks for its electronic trading and digital platforms. In this cross asset class role, this perform will be responsible for providing coverage for a highly technical team that develops digital services and products for the banks digital platform that provides data and risk analytics and software programming tools for their clients.
What You'll Find Yourself Doing:
- Establishing and advancing governance and control frameworks to manage risks in digital services delivery
- Working across business lines, collaborating with business, legal and compliance teams globally
- Evaluating risk and advising business personnel on compliance advice regarding rules, regulations, internal policies and risk mitigation
- Developing compliance policies and standards for the digital services platforms
- Monitoring regulatory developments and trends, as well as interpreting and implementing new rules and regulations
What We Need to See From You:
- A bachelors, preferably a masters degree in a quantitative discipline such as Financial Engineering Computer Science
- A technical background with knowledge of best compliance practices
- 3-5 years of fulltime experience in a relevant capacity, either working in product management, trading technology or risk management covering electronic trading
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure trading environment
- Knowledge of broker-dealer compliance including FINRA, NYSE, and SEC is highly encouraged
