Tier 1 International Bank specialising in Investment Banking and Asset Management products are looking to add a Deputy Head of IT Operations to their Frankfurt Office.
The role will see you manage and lead a team of talented IT professionals based in Frankfurt - the engine room and location of the core engineering responsibilities. The role will report into the Head of UK & Intl Data Centres with whilst interacting very closely with the Divisions Head of IT.
Deputy Head of IT Operations - Responsibilities:
- Main contact and responsible for all IT purposes of the Frankfurt office.
- Support the business to deliver their IT requirements in-line within organisational strategy and goals.
- Build & maintain relationships with senior management across the region and represent the IT function in regional management forums / committees.
- Represent regional IT in global IT management forums / committees.
- Escalating regional issues to regional CIO or global IT head as appropriate whilst defining and implementing solutions to best cater to business goals and objectives.
- Direct management of regional staff, ensure clear objectives are set and issues are managed.
- Support and run teams in relation to regional IT projects to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage and budget IT projects
- Key representative to regulators and internal/external auditors.
Deputy Head of IT Operations - Requirements:
The successful applicant must be able to complete engineering, architectural and design work to a high standard in order to achieve the bank's global objectives and IT function's goals. Additionally, you must be competent in the evaluation of products, creation of proposals as well as competently conduct testing, write documentation and implement resilient solutions that meet the Banks standards.
