Corporate Development Associate
We are currently partnered with a leading energy solutions company in Austin, TX that recently went public and is looking to be highly acquisitive. The Corporate Development Associate position will be working on a lean team, working across M&A and strategy, with a close-knit and collaborative organization. The Corporate Development Associate will be responsible for:
- Execute M&A transactions from origination and structuring to due diligence and close
- Conduct market analysis and develop financial models
- Analyze and review financial statements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management
- Assist in developing and executing corporate strategy
- Work on special projects as needed
The Corporate Development Associate should have the following qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience in Investment Banking
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Experience in the Energy or Oil & Gas sector preferred, not required
