Compliance Manager Role
A position has recently become available for a Compliance Manager role at a market leading insurer. This is an opportunity for candidates to join a dynamic, multifaceted team, operating in a forward-thinking and fast-paced environment.
As a compliance manager, you will ensure the organisation's compliance with both international and EU law, while leveraging Group Minimum Standards within the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will also draft, implement, monitor and update compliance-related guidelines.
Our client is a large American insurance company, which, in its current iteration, is looking to grow internationally. In this instance, you will be joining the German wing of the organisation, where you will become part of an agile and dedicated team of skilled advisors, dealing with rapid transformation and disruption in the insurance sector. You will be dealing with emerging risk and reducing volatility - while simultaneously overlooking the growth and profit strategy of the organisation.
Responsibilities - Compliance
๏ถEnsure the smooth and successful implementation of a Compliance Management System
๏ถPrevention of criminal and external liability risks
๏ถPrevention of reputational risks, management of conflicts of interest and the adequate
protection of customer interest
๏ถIncentives; gifts; gratuities; invitations
๏ถBribery; corruption; anti-trust compliance; fraud prevention; sales compliance; anti money laundering (Geldwaesche); financial solutions
Candidate profile:
The ideal candidate should have:
๏ถA degree in either law, economics, or other similar social sciences
๏ถSimilar experience in related industries / in dealing with legal governance related matters
๏ถRisk management experience would be a strong asset
๏ถExcellent communication and analytical skills
๏ถFluent English and French, both written and spoken to a C1 minimum standard. German and Spanish would also be useful
