Role: Compliance AML Officer

Reporting To: Head of Compliance, Amstelveen
We are currently representing a leading insurance business in the Netherlands that is looking for a compliance AML officer. The role itself comes with plenty of responsibility - you will be working within the compliance department on helping the organization handle its risks in a responsible way.
The Candidate
- Experience working within the finance space
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws, particularly AML/Sanction
- Experience in compliance monitoring and reporting
- Familiarity with investment and insurance processes is good to have
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand complex matters, be persuasive, and provide independent views
- Fluent in English, and professional level Dutch language is a plus
The Role
- Executing compliance monitoring activities in the area of AML/Sanctions
- Compiling compliance reports to regulators, management, and board
- Advising business and management on complex compliance topics
- Developing, supporting and reporting on management controls on appropriate processes
- Providing project assurance in the area of AML/Sanctions
- Converting applicable regulations and legislation into adequate policies
