What will you be doing? |
ยท Ensuring thorough documentation of all existing strategies and intent, keeping documentation current as strategy changes are made ยท Engaging with strategy owners and participating in change control forums ยท Performing Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) to review operational risks and ensure the effectiveness of controls, driving attainment of business objectives ยท Developing and monitoring Control / Exception reporting to ensure that execution matches strategic intent; identifying areas of opportunity to enhance existing controls ยท Developing and maintaining frameworks for strategy governance, including measurement / KPIs, guardrails, risk ratings, review frequency ยท Identifying issues and gaps, opening and managing incidents to ensure timely closure of issues |

What we're looking for: |
ยท Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a Governance and Control or similar discipline |
ยท Experience in Collections and / or Recoveries within the consumer lending industry, Credit Card preferred |
ยท In-depth understanding of US consumer collections laws, rules and regulations at the Federal, State and Local level |
ยท Extensive experience with documentation and issue management ยท Experience leveraging SQL/SAS on large data sets

Skills that will help you in the role: |
ยท Graduate studies, MBA preferred, or equivalent experience ยท Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Excel to support data analytics and reporting
