A top performing hedge fund, and leader in its niche vertical, are hiring an outstanding and enthusiastic candidate to join their investor relations and client servicing team. The fund focuses on credit-orientated investments and has amassed over $5bn in assets under management (aum).
The ideal candidate for this role will have 5 - 10 years (or equivalent) in the market, have worked in a credit hedge fund previously and have experience creating marketing materials and fund reports. Key Responsibilities
- Speaking with important clients and dealing with queries daily to facilitate an excellent client experience.
- To work closely with both the sales and investment teams to provide excellent support and assistance.
- Preparation and maintenance of quality fund-raising documents to support the business development process and assets-raising processes.
- Maintaining and updating fund models and performance details.
- Using excel for calculations, e.g. compound interest and statistical volatility.
- Preparation of investor presentations to support the excellent brand image.
- Preparation of technical diligence documentations.
- Coordinating the request for proposal responses.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in business, economics, finance, accounting or similar subject from a reputable university.
- Proficient in Maths and English
- Experience, ideally coming from an investment bank (M&A, Leverage Finance or Equity Research), corporate finance advisory (Transaction Services) or an asset management firm.
- Expertise in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent language skills in English; other languages are desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- High attention to details and accuracy.
- Team player mentality with good interpersonal skills.
