As a Private Equity Deal Sourcing Associate, you will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and executing potential investment opportunities that align with the firm's investment strategy and financial objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a highly skilled team and make a significant impact on the growth and success of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify potential investment targets, industry trends, and market dynamics.
- Proactively source and evaluate investment opportunities through networking, industry events, conferences, and various deal sourcing channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, executives, intermediaries, and other relevant professionals to expand deal flow and sourcing capabilities.
- Perform thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial analysis, valuation modeling, and risk assessment.
- Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for the investment committee, highlighting key findings, risks, and opportunities associated with potential transactions.
- Collaborate closely with the investment team to support the execution of transactions, including negotiations, structuring, and deal documentation.
- Monitor and track industry developments, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes to identify potential implications for investment strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, business development, or related fields with a proven track record in deal sourcing and execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and internal team members.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
