Responsibilities:
- Having an in-depth knowledge of the markets and offer market views to prospective and current clients
- Responsible of managing a portfolio of clients within the US agricultural and softs markets
- Promoting the services and products of the business
- Identifying new business opportunities within the market
- Building new relationships with senior stakeholders
- Offering hedging advisory and management, including directly selling products over-the-counter to prospective clients
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience within a broking, sales or merchandising position in the commodities space
- Excellent financial knowledge and experience with risk management
- Significant knowledge and experience of the US softs/ags markets
- A commercially mind, entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills
- The ability to understand and quickly analyse complex information
- Degree qualified is desirable
