Job Responsibility
- Provide support services for application related issues related to market, data, risk, and pricing instruments
- Collaborate with business-critical (ie. Portfolio managers, and traders) individuals
- Responsible for monitoring production environment
- Trouble-shoot user ends (ie. Valuation team) on issues and conduct root cause analysis
- Ensure timely resolutions to relevant development teams
- Update Wikipedia on new issues (ie. Issues, symptoms etc)
What is Required
- Programming experience in commercial or personal projects
- 1+ year in SQL
- Familiarity with financial platforms ie. Murex, Calypso, or Front Arena
- Experience supporting mixture of vendor and in-house applications
- Strong Communication skills to liaise between user end and production ends
- Strong analytical mind, and ability to learn and work under pressure
