Introduction
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our client's team in London. Our client is a financial technology company that provides subscription-based data and software solutions to banks and asset managers. The role of the Account Manager is to manage client accounts, upsell, cross-sell and retain business.
Main Responsibilities
The Account Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Manage client accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
- Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Retain existing business
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
- Work with the sales team to acquire new clients
Required Skills
The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
- 5+ years of account management experience, including upselling, cross-selling and retention
- Experience in selling subscription-based data and SaaS products
- Working knowledge of the credit market
- Experience working with banks and asset managers
- Additional European languages beneficial
- Ability to leverage existing relationships
