Position Overview:
The Vice President of Finance will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, overseeing all financial operations and driving initiatives that support growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and financial planning, with the ability to lead a high-performing team and implement best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Lead cost accounting processes and ensure accurate product costing for manufacturing operations.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning.
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions, pricing models, and margin improvement.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to optimize cost structures and improve efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Support M&A activities, including due diligence and integration planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in manufacturing.
- Strong expertise in cost accounting and inventory management.
- Proven ability to develop financial strategies and drive operational improvements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel modeling.
