Trade Support Engineer
Our Client, a world-leading Hedge Fund, is looking for a Trade Support Engineer for their London Office. The role requires the individual to be skilled in Unix/Linux, FIX protocol and scripting in any of the high-level languages. In this role, you would be responsible for driving the transformation of our trading, research, and development environments to a fully automated, systematic trading system that trades multiple assets globally around the clock. Build effective tooling for automation in all phases of SDLC including rigorous testing, release, and deployment process.
Improve our trading systems' performance, monitoring, availability and reliability.
Responsibility's:
- Drive the transformation of our trading, research, and development environments to a fully automated, systematic trading system that trades multiple assets globally around the clock
- Build effective tooling for automation in all phases of SDLC including rigorous testing, release, and deployment process. Improve our trading systems' performance, monitoring, availability and reliability
- Provide day-to-day support for mission critical trading applications and the underlying infrastructure.Deep understanding of trading workflows and excellent incident management skills
Requirements:
- Strong Unix and Linux knowledge within real-time trading systems
- Scripting skills within Python or any other high-level language
- Working knowledge of SQL and FIX protocol
