Trade Support Associate
Trade Desk Support - Global Equities (International Focus)
- Serve as a liaison between Trading, Operations, and Portfolio Implementation teams to resolve issues, particularly for international strategies.
- Execute Private Model-only trades in the order management system under the direction of the Institutional Trading Desk.
- Maintain and organize the Trade Blotter as new orders and trading programs are initiated.
- Monitor and adjust trade blocks as necessary.
- Book trades in the order management system and ensure they are processed through post-trade workflows.
- Perform end-of-day checks across institutional order and execution management systems.
Trade Execution Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare daily trading reports, commission summaries, and quarterly Best Execution reports.
- Support enhancements to Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) reporting.
- Assist in reviewing FX TCA data.
- Lead projects related to Trading Desk operations and issue resolution.
Account Administration
- Review and verify the accuracy and appropriateness of new client account documentation.
- Monitor sponsor platforms and emails for account activity, including deposits and withdrawals.
- Generate reports for WRAP Trading and Portfolio Management Associate teams.
- Maintain organized documentation and filing systems.
- Update and manage the Program Trade database and WRAP sponsor list.
- Respond to sponsor inquiries and coordinate communication.
- Distribute client documentation to relevant internal teams.
Risk Management
- Review Program trades across all accounts for accuracy and compliance.
- Reconcile strategy models and generate strategy drift reports.
- Stay informed on corporate actions that may impact portfolios.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment or trading operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, VB, etc.).
- Strong multitasking abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to both detail and broader context.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Internet Explorer).
- Familiarity with tools such as Bloomberg, Charles River, GWP, FactSet, Vestek, Fiserv APL & MMS is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Proactive, curious, and knowledgeable about financial markets, investment theory, and the asset management industry
