Overview
A leading global financial institution is seeking an experienced Vice President or Director to join its Structured Finance Solutions team in London.
This is a front-office origination and execution role focused on developing bespoke financing solutions for alternative asset managers, private capital sponsors, investment funds, and institutional investors. The successful candidate will originate, structure, and execute complex financing transactions across a broad range of fund-related and asset-backed opportunities.
The role sits within a growing platform that is looking to expand beyond traditional fund finance products into more sophisticated and bespoke structured financing solutions. As such, candidates with experience across NAV financing, fund financing, structured credit, asset-backed lending, speciality finance, warehouse financing, and other non-standard financing structures will be particularly attractive.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and execute financing opportunities with private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real estate and alternative investment funds.
- Structure and deliver NAV financing, subscription line facilities, management company financing and GP financing solutions.
- Develop more complex and bespoke financing structures involving concentrated portfolios, specialty assets, fund secondaries, continuation vehicles and other private market assets.
- Partner closely with Relationship Management, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Risk and Legal teams to deliver tailored financing solutions.
- Lead transaction execution from initial structuring through credit approval, documentation and closing.
- Build and maintain senior relationships with fund sponsors, investment firms, institutional investors and other key market participants.
- Identify opportunities to expand product capabilities and develop innovative financing solutions for clients.
- Support junior team members and contribute to the continued build-out of the franchise.

Candidate Requirements
- 6-15 years of relevant experience within Structured Finance, Fund Finance, Leveraged Finance, Speciality Finance, Asset-Backed Lending or a related business.
- Strong understanding of fund structures and alternative asset managers.
- Experience originating, structuring or executing NAV financing and/or fund financing transactions.
- Exposure to more bespoke financing transactions beyond vanilla subscription lending would be highly desirable.
- Strong credit, structuring and transaction execution capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to develop innovative financing solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
