Company Overview
Selby Jennings is partnering with a boutique placement advisory firm headquartered in London. The firm has built a strong reputation in mid-market European private equity and private debt fundraising. Entrepreneurial and owner-managed, the team works closely with Managing Partners of top-tier PE firms to advise on fund strategy, investor communications, and capital raising.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end fundraising processes, including LP targeting, roadshow coordination, and preparation of investor materials (PPMs, DDQs, presentations).
- Manage M&A advisory engagements, working directly with fund managers to refine and communicate their value proposition.
- Act as a strategic advisor to GPs, supporting market positioning and investor messaging.
- Originate new mandates and contribute to business development efforts.
- Report directly to senior partners, with visibility and influence across the firm.
Ideal Candidate
- Background in M&A advisory, transaction services, placement agent roles, or investment banking/Big Four, with familiarity in private equity or private markets.
- Energetic and driven, with a direct communication style and strong commercial instincts.
- Sales-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Proactive and confident, capable of managing complex processes and senior relationships.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
