Investment Banking Sr. Associate - Consumer
The Consumer team advises clients across branded consumer, retail, e‑commerce, food & beverage, and consumer services. The Sr. Associate / Jr. VP will play a meaningful role in all phases of deal execution, with direct exposure to senior bankers and clients, and a clear path for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a core member of deal teams on sell‑side and buy‑side M&A transactions, from pitch through closing
- Take on significant ownership of financial modeling, valuation analysis, and transaction materials
- Draft and refine critical deliverables, including CIMs, management presentations, and buyer outreach materials
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage day‑to‑day execution workflows
- Interact directly with clients, buyers, private equity sponsors, and senior internal stakeholders
- Mentor analysts and contribute to a collaborative, high‑performance team culture
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3-6+ years of experience in investment banking, with meaningful exposure to M&A transactions
- Background in consumer, retail, or related sectors preferred, though not required for strong candidates
- Demonstrated ability to operate with autonomy and accountability in a lean, execution‑focused environment
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills
- Highly motivated, intellectually curious, and eager to take on increasing responsibility
