This is a unique opportunity to join a strategic build out of the Distribution team in Charlotte, NC, under newly acquired leadership from a premier investment bank. The team is expanding rapidly and looking for a high-caliber Investment Banking Associate to support the growing team and deal flow.

Compensation

  • Senior Analyst: $120K-$130K base + year-end bonus
  • Associate: $200K flat base + all-cash bonus
  • Bonus buyouts available for exceptional candidates.

The Investment Banking Associate will:

  • Lead execution of live M&A deals - modeling, valuation, client presentations, and due diligence.
  • Collaborate directly with MDs and VPs in a flat team structure.
  • Gain exposure to high-impact transactions across the distribution landscape.
  • Play a key role in the Distribution team build out in Charlotte.
  • Participate in training and mentoring junior resources.
  • Work on M&A transactions throughout the entire deal lifecycle.

The Investment Banking Associate will have:

  • Strong M&A execution experience from a reputable platform (bulge bracket, elite boutique, or high-volume middle-market).
  • Demonstrated deal reps - especially sell-side.
  • Experience working across transactions in the Manufacturing, Distribution, Transportation & Logistics, or related sectors.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Experience conducting due diligence, building financial models, creating marketing materials and pitch decks.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
  • Currently located or targeting a relocation to Charlotte, NC.
