Investment Banking Associate I - Industrials
We are working with a well‑established, highly active middle market investment bank to identify an Investment Banking Associate I to join its Industrials team in New York.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven junior banker to gain meaningful transaction exposure, work closely with senior leadership, and develop deep sector expertise across a wide range of Industrials subsectors.

The Industrials Team
- Active coverage across diversified industrial sectors (including manufacturing, distribution, transportation, and industrial technology)
- Balanced mix of sell‑side, buy‑side, and capital‑raising mandates
- High level of responsibility and direct exposure to clients and senior bankers from day one
Responsibilities
- Build and execute detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and merger consequences analyses
- Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and offering memoranda
- Coordinate and manage diligence processes and data rooms
- Participate in client meetings, management presentations, and transaction negotiations
- Work closely with Analysts, Vice Presidents, and Managing Directors throughout live deals
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of investment banking or relevant transaction experience
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skill set
- Experience across M&A and/or capital markets transactions preferred
- Industrial sector experience is a plus but not required
- Detail‑oriented, intellectually curious, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
