Alternative Investment Manager based out of Miami. The firm's expertise lies in equities strategies across multiple sectors.
Position Overview:
The firm is looking to bring on an Analyst to their investment team that has experience working with small-cap equities as well as having experience with capital markets.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of US Small-cap companies.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support investment reccomendations.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and economic indicators to identify investment opportunities.
- Prepare detailed investment reports and presentations for the investment team and portfolio managers.
- Collaborate with Senior Analyst's and Portfolio Managers to develop investment strategies.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and their impact on the sector and portfolio holdings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment analysis, with proven expertiese with US Small-cap equity companies and capital markets investing experience.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar financial research tools.
