A nationally respected strategic advisory firm is seeking a Vice President to join its Healthcare M&A practice. This team partners with healthcare organizations across the continuum of care-including health systems, physician groups, post-acute providers, and specialty practices-to navigate strategic partnerships, growth opportunities, and complex transactions.
This is a leadership role for professionals with 5+ years of experience in healthcare investment banking or M&A advisory. The position offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration from the firm's Chicago location.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions across healthcare verticals.
- Manage client communications, presentations, and overall project delivery.
- Conduct and oversee financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research.
- Prepare offering memorandums, buyer lists, and strategic evaluations.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management teams and boards.
- Apply valuation methodologies including DCF, precedent transactions, and trading comparables.
- Mentor analysts and associates, ensuring high-quality work and professional development.
- Contribute to thought leadership and internal strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare M&A or investment banking.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
