Position Summary:
My client is seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Associate to join their investment banking team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in executing M&A transactions, capital raising efforts, and strategic advisory services for healthcare clients. This role offers significant exposure to senior bankers and clients, with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to high-impact deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of M&A, equity, and debt transactions, including due diligence, financial modeling, and deal documentation.
- Build and maintain complex financial models and perform valuation analyses (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies).
- Prepare client presentations, pitch books, management presentations, and board materials.
- Conduct industry and company research to support transaction strategy and business development.
- Collaborate with internal product and sector teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Stay informed on market trends and regulatory developments impacting the healthcare sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Analyst) or MBA/advanced degree (Associate) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-3 years (Analyst) or 3-5 years (Associate) of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance, preferably with exposure to healthcare.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Capital IQ, PitchBook).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with high attention to detail.
