Fund Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- General Ledger & Close Management
- Own the month‑end close process for corporate and property entities, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to GAAP.
- Ensure proper classification of revenue, expenses, capital expenditures, and inter-company allocations.
- Cash Management & Treasury Coordination
- Compliance, Controls & Audit Support
- Investment & Asset Management Support
- Tax Compliance, reporting processes for real estate partnerships.
- Proficient in Fund Accounting principals
Fund Accounting Manager Requirements:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience
- Bachelors Degree (Accounting or Finance Degree preferred)
- Direct Tax Accounting Experience
- Direct Fund Accounting Experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, real estate valuation concepts, partnership accounting, and consolidation principles.
- Advanced Excel skills: modeling, look-ups, pivot tables, data integrity, and audit trails.
- Experience with tax software or tax compliance workflows is a plus.
- Real Estate Experience preferred but not required.
