We are seeking an experienced and driven Exotic Equity Derivatives Trader to join a leading global financial institution's London-based trading desk. This is a high-impact role within the Equities division, offering the opportunity to contribute to the growth and performance of a dynamic and fast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Price, structure, and manage risk on a wide range of exotic equity derivatives products, including path-dependent options, autocallables, and hybrids.
- Execute trades and manage positions across global markets, ensuring alignment with risk and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with structuring, sales, and quantitative teams to deliver tailored solutions to institutional clients.
- Monitor market developments and identify trading opportunities to enhance profitability.
- Contribute to the development of pricing models and trading strategies in partnership with quant teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record (3 - 5 years) in exotic equity derivatives trading at a leading investment bank or financial institution.
- Strong understanding of complex derivatives structures and associated risk management techniques.
- Proficiency in pricing models and tools; familiarity with programming languages such as Python is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong academic background in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Finance).
