Selby Jennings is partnering with a private-debt impact investment manager focused on climate-aligned in emerging markets. The firm aims to unlock long-term capital for essential projects across Africa. This is an opportunity to join a mission-driven team, helping scale a strategy for high-impact infrastructure.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead fundraising efforts for the firm's infrastructure debt strategies, targeting institutional investors, DFIs, and family offices.
- Develop and execute capital raising strategies across emerging markets, with a particular focus on Africa and EM LPs.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with existing and prospective investors, ensuring alignment with the firm's impact and financial goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on fund structuring, investor communications, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and investor meetings to enhance visibility and credibility.
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials, pitch decks, and investor reporting tools.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven track record in fundraising for private credit, infrastructure, or impact investment strategies.
- Deep network across EM and African LPs, including institutional investors and/or family offices.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a lean, high-performing team.
- Passion for sustainable development and impact investing in emerging markets.
