Director, Enterprise Risk Management
A global digital asset and crypto infrastructure firm is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) professional to unify and enhance its risk oversight across business lines. This is a high-impact, hands-on role reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, with global scope and visibility across senior leadership. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, and brings a pragmatic, commercial mindset to risk architecture. You'll work closely with trading, technology, and operations teams to embed ERM into the firm's strategic decision-making and regulatory posture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a unified ERM framework, governance structure, and risk policies across the enterprise.
- Own non-financial risk oversight, including business continuity, operational resilience, and emerging risk monitoring.
- Develop and maintain risk inventories, registers, heat maps, and dashboards for executive reporting.
- Integrate financial, operational, and technology risk data into continuous monitoring and decision support tools.
Key Requirements:
- 15+ years of ERM experience, ideally with Tier 1 financial institutions and exposure to startup or high-growth environments.
- Deep understanding of financial, technology, and infrastructure risks; fluency in COSO, NIST, and ISO frameworks.
- Proven ability to build and operate risk functions, not just oversee them; comfortable with ambiguity and ownership.
- Experience in crypto, cloud, or AI domains is highly desirable; strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
