Corporate Development Senior Manager
Corporate Development Senior Manager
Company Summary: We are currently partnered with a multi‑billion‑dollar global leader in medical technology; a company with over a century of innovation, a strong global footprint, and a rapidly expanding portfolio of advanced medical devices, diagnostic technologies, and solutions that impact healthcare delivery worldwide. This organization is known for its stability, continuous growth, and robust pipeline of breakthrough technologies that shape the future of patient care.
Due to a surge in acquisition activity and a growing strategic mandate, our client is hiring a Corporate Development Senior Manager to join a small, high‑visibility team driving the company's M&A strategy across multiple business units.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
- Join a company with significant deal flow, a strong balance sheet, and a long track record of strategic acquisitions.
- Be part of a lean, influential Corporate Development team, offering meaningful ownership and direct impact on strategic decisions.
- Work across a diverse portfolio of products and technologies with real‑world healthcare impact.
- Ideal role for candidates from Investment Banking or Corporate Development seeking a strategic, hands‑on position inside a global industry leader.
The Corporate Development Senior Manager will:
- Lead and execute end‑to‑end M&A activity, especially transactions under $1B.
- Own and drive financial modeling, valuation work, scenario analysis, and deal structuring.
- Support all phases of due diligence, contracting, internal approvals, and cross‑functional alignment.
- Partner closely with senior leadership and collaborate across finance, legal, commercial, R&D, and business unit teams.
- Interact with external advisors, including major banks supporting larger transactions.
- Operate as a key individual contributor within a tight‑knit team of two, with significant visibility and opportunities for upward trajectory as the team expands.
The Corporate Development Manager should have:
- 5+ years of Corporate Development or Investment Banking experience preferred (will consider strong candidates with 3-4 years for Manager level).
- Deep, hands‑on financial modeling experience-this role is genuinely modeling‑heavy.
- Exposure to the full transaction lifecycle; candidates with fewer deals but deeper involvement are strongly valued.
- Collaborative, low‑ego, proactive professionals who build strong cross‑functional relationships.
