Consumer Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Support execution across the pipeline of sell-side M&A mandates in the consumer sector.
- Build detailed valuation materials (DCF, trading comps, precedent transactions) and work closely with seniors on strategic rationale and client deliverables.
- Take ownership of key work-streams including modelling, process management, due diligence coordination, and draft sections of marketing materials (IMs, teasers, management presentations).
- Work directly with Directors and Partners in a lean deal team, with clear visibility and the opportunity to contribute beyond title.
- Conduct detailed sector and sub-vertical research, maintain market maps, and support origination initiatives.
- The ideal candidate must be a current Analyst in a mid‑market investment bank, with full‑time experience in a Consumer M&A or broader Consumer & Retail coverage team.
- Solid grounding in financial modelling, valuation, and end-to-end deal execution.
- Strong familiarity with consumer sub-sectors and the ability to speak confidently about relevant deals and market trends.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in lean-team environments with meaningful exposure.
