About the Role
Our client a leading quantitative hedge fund seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead our overseas expansion efforts. This role is pivotal in driving strategic growth across international markets, with a focus on client acquisition, investment solution delivery, and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion Strategy: Identify and evaluate overseas market opportunities, with a focus on institutional and high-net-worth client segments.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with global clients, partners, and stakeholders to support fundraising and product distribution.
- Investment Solutions: Collaborate with internal investment teams to tailor and present quant-driven strategies to overseas clients, ensuring alignment with local regulatory and market conditions.
- Market Research & Intelligence: Conduct in-depth research on macroeconomic trends, competitive landscape, and client needs across target regions.
- Cross-Border Coordination: Work closely with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of international business initiatives.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs and report on business development outcomes, pipeline progress, and client feedback.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in business development or institutional sales within the hedge fund, asset management, or investment banking sectors.
- Deep understanding of quantitative investment strategies and global financial markets.
- Experience working with overseas clients, especially in North America, Europe, or Asia-Pacific.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Based in Shanghai or willing to relocate.
