Accounts Receivable Team Lead
We are partnering with a leading online platform provider in their search for an Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join their growing finance team in Bangkok. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing AR operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and driving process improvements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations & Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day accounts receivable and revenue-related activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and cash application.
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring AR balances are complete and accurate for financial reporting.
Financial Integrity & Compliance
- Maintain a strong internal control environment aligned with US GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams during reviews and audits.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with business, sales, and operations teams to assess the financial impact of new initiatives and ensure alignment with revenue recognition policies.
- Act as a finance liaison for AR-related matters across departments.
Process Improvement & Leadership
- Lead initiatives to streamline AR processes and enhance automation and efficiency.
- Review team outputs, identify gaps in reconciliation and analysis, and implement improvements.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members to build a high-performing AR function.
Adaptability & Project Involvement
- Stay agile and responsive to evolving business needs, adjusting priorities and workflows as necessary.
- Participate in special projects, system implementations, and ad hoc financial analysis as required.
