Senior Fund Accountant
What Does the Role Involve?
As a Senior Fund Accountant, you'll be a key contributor to the financial and operational backbone of a tech-driven buyside firm. Your responsibilities will span across fund accounting, trade operations, and financial reporting, supporting both the finance team and senior leadership in maintaining accuracy and efficiency across the firm's investment activities.
- Manage full sets of accounts, bank reconciliations, and month-end reporting.
- Execute trade reconciliations, settlements, and operational processes with precision.
- Prepare fund financial statements and regulatory filings on a monthly and annual basis.
- Assist in Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and fund accounting deliverables.
- Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Reconcile cash and trade positions, resolving discrepancies swiftly.
What Experience Do You Need?
We're looking for someone with a solid foundation in fund accounting and financial operations, ideally within a buyside or fund management environment. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven setting and have a proactive mindset.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field..
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, including alternatives.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Fluency in English; Mandarin is a plus.
