Risk Analyst | Delta One focused
Our client, a top-tier financial institution that's looking to hire a Risk Analyst to support their Delta One trading business across Asia. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of equity derivatives to join a high-performing regional risk team.
What does the role involve?
- Monitor and assess risk exposures across Delta One desks, including equity swaps, ETFs, baskets, and custom indices.
- Partner closely with trading, technology, and compliance teams to ensure risk frameworks are robust and aligned with business strategy.
- Develop and enhance risk models and tools to support market, credit, and operational risk analysis.
- Produce daily and ad-hoc risk reports, highlighting key exposures, limit breaches, and market movements.
- Support stress testing, scenario analysis, and regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
- Contribute to the automation and improvement of risk monitoring tools and dashboards.
What experience do you need?
- 3-5+ minimum years of experience in risk management, ideally with exposure to Delta One
- Strong understanding of Asian equity markets and synthetic products.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with risk systems such as Murex, Bloomberg, or internal platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions.
- Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
