Investment Analyst - Equity Long/Short (Industrials Focus)

The firm runs a concentrated, fundamental Equity Long/Short strategy with a long bias, grounded in deep research, high‑conviction investing, and a long‑term orientation. This role will focus primarily on Industrials and related sectors, offering meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to build differentiated domain expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep, bottoms‑up fundamental research on companies within Industrials and adjacent sectors
- Build, maintain, and refine detailed financial models incorporating company, industry, and macro inputs
- Develop targeted industry expertise and stay current on sector trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory shifts
- Engage directly with management teams, industry experts, and other key stakeholders to inform investment views
- Present investment recommendations with clear, data‑driven theses
Required Backgrounds:
Candidates must have one of the following minimum profiles:
- 2 years Investment Banking + 2 years Private Equity, or
- 2 years Investment Banking + any number of years Sell‑Side Equity Research
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong modeling capabilities with assumptions grounded in research and data
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow‑through
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate with a high sense of ownership
