A leading global investment banking advisory firm is seeking a highly experienced Vice President to join its Aerospace & Defence practice in London. The firm is renowned for its deep sector expertise, international reach, and track record of high-impact transactions across aviation, aerospace, and defence markets.
This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team that advises top-tier clients on M&A, capital raising, and strategic initiatives across the full spectrum of the A&D value chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of complex M&A transactions, including cross-border deals, carve-outs, and strategic partnerships.
- Manage capital markets activity including equity and debt financing, recapitalizations, and restructurings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring excellence in analysis, presentation, and client delivery.
- Collaborate with global colleagues to leverage the firm's international platform and sector insights.
- Support origination efforts through market analysis, pitch development, and client engagement.
Coverage Areas Include:
- Aerostructures, avionics, and propulsion systems
- Defence electronics, simulation, and maritime technologies
- MRO, aftermarket services, and logistics
- Interiors, connectivity, and cabin systems
- Precision manufacturing and engineered components
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in investment banking, with a strong focus on Aerospace & Defence.
- Demonstrated success in leading transactions and managing client relationships.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
