Our client, a leading digital asset firm, is seeking a Senior SRE to join their High-Frequency Trading team in London. In this exciting role you be taking ownership over building, monitoring and maintaining secure environments across multiple cloud and bare-metal data centers. This position offers stimulating opportunity for collaborating with traders, researchers and developers in building a fast-moving trading platform.
The ideal candidate will manage high-performance infrastructure across multiple regions, automate the business, and bootstrap new technologies into the stack. This role suits an experienced engineer with strong Kubernetes and AWS skills, plus expertise in automation, monitoring, and scripting with Python.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support traders, researchers and developers in building and managing a fast-moving trading platform.
- Work with multiple cloud and datacentre vendors across multiple regions.
- Automate deployments and integrate new technologies.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong Kubernetes (Helm, Rook, Strimzi) and AWS experience.
- Proficient in Python, Terraform, Ansible, and Linux.
- FinTech or crypto experience is a plus.
- Ownership mentality - you want to see your work make an impact and are accountable for results.
- Determination to tackle hard problems and persistence to iterate until you find solutions.
- Collaborative, collegiate approach; you value working with peers to solve problems.
